Camille Rose Quartet come to Bennigans for Derry City Jazz Fest 2026
Camille Rose is an emerging jazz vocalist from South-East London. Her mellifluous tones—often described as the lovechild of Ella Fitzgerald and Amy Winehouse—blend classic jazz sensibility with soulful inflection, drawing inspiration from artists such as Billie Holiday, Jazzmeia Horn, and Dinah Washington . A graduate of the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Camille has collaborated with some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians and brings over a decade of performance experience to stages including Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Club, and PizzaExpress Dean Street, where she performed a sold-out show for the EFG London Jazz Festival. A spellbinding live performer, narrator, and improviser, Camille delivers interpretations of the American Songbook and beyond—bridging tradition and modernity with control and freedom. Playful yet honest, honeyed yet zesty. Through storytelling rooted in the past and shaped by modern perception, Camille rekindles a deep love for the jazz vocal greats while continuing to push the music forward into new ground.
